Tom,

I have 2 laptops that I down loaded 433D onto.  My 64 bit sony vaio has the Kmotion.exe program.  My 32 bit Lenovo doesn’t not have the Kmotion program.  I tried loading it twice with the same results.  Did Kmotion change?  Can I just use the Kmotion from 433C?  Is there something else I need to do?

Jack

Hi Tom,

Is there a config file with all the KmotionCNC settings that would make update easier?

Thanks

Hi Jack,

You should always use the Kmotion.exe from that is installed with the Version.

Regarding your off-line email it seems Norton Antivirus is false positive on it being a Virus and removing it.  We haven't heard of any issue from anyone else.

I checked the V4.33d KMotion.exe on:

And Norton is the only one thinking it is infected out of 53 others thinking it is ok.  Also my understanding of "Suspicious Cloud" means that it has some characteristics that might indicate it is a new virus but does not actually have a signature of any known virus.

Regards
TK

Hi Colin,

If you copy the files in the KMotion\Data directory from one version to the other most settings should migrate to the new Version

Thanks Tom.  My other computer with McAfee didn’t flag it just Norton.  Better to be safe than sorry.

By the way, Softlimits works great.  Thanks for the help!!

I've had issues with Avast while installing, reporting KMotion as being untrusted as it's relatively unknown.
Now I just use the option to disable shields for 10minutes while I install KMotion, and things work fine after that.
